That looks very nice..... it's pretty unfortunate that you won't build them for other customers. I too would love to see what that hood looks like on a GENII with stripes.

Wow, that looks great! Nice way to update a Gen II without changing its overall look or appeal. The side vents look really good...aggressive versus the stock vents. Any thought of making a bolt on replacement vent for the stock Gen II hood? I think that would be a pretty good seller, as the change could be made easily without having to replace the entire hood.

Just a thought.

I agree!!! I would like to see bolt on replacements for the vents. I would like to see a slanted style vent instead of straight and boring \ /

Alright, he had his one of a kind for long enough. The rest of us need to update our hoods. Fire up the assembly line! :2tu:

I'd like NACA duct (slightly larger width) and no lines on center of the hood. Stock hood has a perfect inverse of the double bubble on the roof line. Under 4k? I will mail my left nut as well.

I would be interested in this hood but I also see changes I would like. The biggest problem with my car is getting rid of the heat. I would love to see the scoop much larger to catch more air and I also would love to see the hood one inch larger and with a cowl-induction opening at the rear like the old 69 z-28 hoods. Not to boxy though. Maybe large enough to mount gauges in or have opened for more air flow. This hood should be extremely vented for high performance cars and the hood should scream SPEED when standing still. It can't be a heavy hood either. Let me know when these become available.

OK, keep in mind there are no latches on this hood so it is only setting into position (hence the poor gaps at the moment).

Just my opinion, but the louvers would look better if they were moved inboard about 2.5" and to the rear about 4-5". You need to vent the heat from above the exhaust manifolds. I do understand about the rib structure underneath.
