The first article says that they build the Viper. The second article says they work at the Jeep plant. I think they work in the Viper paint shop which is at the Jeep plant. :dunno:

Either way, a Corvette?:dunno:

Unless something changed, aren't the panels still being painted by Saleen?

That Saleen plant closed last year. I thought a company in Indiana was currently painting the panels. Maybe the blems were being taken care of at the Jeep plant.:dunno:

Article 1 has been edited to say the Jeep plant. Doesn't look like the Viper guys won afterall :( Congrats to the Jeep guys though!

Jeep guy buying a new Corvette, when the Viper is almost out of production. What a dick! No wonder my briefly owned Jeep SRT-8 was such a POS.

It was indeed Chrysler workers, at Jefferson Ave Assy, paint-shop folks building Grand Cherokees.

sounds like the writer of this article is a numbnut! ;)

based on my math, unless that tax rate is **** for Michigan lottery winners (a friend of the family won the lotto not too long ago so I know what the take in IL is), the 14 folks will take home more than 1.2 mil as well.

anyway - congrats to those lucky 14! :usa:
