Looking to buy a 96 or 97 b&w under 40k any out there?

Like the title states, I am looking for a 96 or 97 blue and white Gts for under 40k. The last couple I have looked at, the deals have fallen through. Please help me find one. I am after a completely stock car, exhaust filters don't both me. I would prefer one that hasn't been tracked. Thanks fir your help and time. I am in NC but WILL travel for the right deal. Thanks again.

There are cars out there, but limiting yourself to under $40k definitely narrows your choices. Really nice ones with no stories can be found in the $45k range, but when you get under $40k, you've got to be really careful. There are some good high-mile cars out there in that range, and there are a lot of cars with stories for under $40k. Usual thinking is to get one as well documented and from a trusted and known seller - and expect to pay a fair price for that peace of mind.

I have seen the one in Ohio. Lots of corrosion on the door sills. More than I want to deal. Thanks for the heads up though. I appologize if asking this question is an inconvience to anyone.

There's a 96 B/W in the classifieds at Premier Sportscars, and I believe they will take 40k or slightly less (it was previously listed at 39900).

Most of them when you think you have found one has issues. To find one that what you are looking for I am afraid you will have to go above 40k if you are looking for a mint B/W. I bought 3 years ago but searched for 8 months so good luck on your search because the time and money I spent I should have just went ahead ponied up on the dough. Just my 2 cents. It's also a 16 year old vehicle unless it has spent it's life in the garage it's going to have some minor flaws. My paint in my hood is cracking about 3 inch line etc with only 16k miles.

Well I found one!!! In the classifieds near me so I don't have to travel that far. One owner in a climate controlled garage all it's life so things are looking good so far. Now I need a Viper Tech near Ashville NC to take a look at it. So this leads to my next question, is that does anyone know of a Tech near Ashville or Charlotte? I know Charlotte is an hour and a half from Ashville but I hope to work something out. Thanks again for all of your help and time.

Bent frames are waiting for ya when you go cheap! Around 15% of all 1996 vipers have been wrecked at least once. The number continues to climb as time goes by.
