Be sure to set your DVR for 9:00 ET for the program "Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain". While it seems that the program is a bit more race-oriented, I am sure the Viper will come up in some way, shape or form - if nothing else for the Viper Cup Series. It is broadcast live, so be sure to check it out!

PS. You can apparently call or email the program to get your voice heard. Might be a good time to let Dave, Ralph, and the rest of the world know that you want the Viper to continue! :2tu:

Pretty good interview.
Ralph mostly talked about NASCAR on a NASCAR-based show (he's smart like that).

In regards to the Viper, he talked about the party last Thursday and the Gen. 4's run. No mention of future plans, but you could see it in his face: he wants the Viper back as bad as the rest of us.

When watching the show, I noticed a a Chris M. from Kansas emailed into the show concerning the future of the Viper. Wonder who this could have been?

Did anyone notice Ralph laugh when he heard the e-mail was from Chris M.? He is probably thinking, "Will this guy ever give me a break????" LOL! :D

I know I was laughing when I was watching!

What was funny was that I sent that e-mail into the show a few hours earlier, figuring it would be one of thousands to be submitted and possibly one of a dozen or so to make the cut. Thus my prompt to everybody on the first post to send something in. My only advantage was having a little background in providing good bites for the press - I didn't mention my last name, what club I am in, nor what position I am fortunate enough to hold there. Lucky on several counts!

Our goal is to keep the Viper relevant and at the forefront even now that production has ceased. Getting the Viper name (and them some footage) on a NASCAR-focused show is good for the platform as a whole. Continued publicity is good for the Viper brand and enough "noise" might help assure its future. After all, it worked for Stephen Colbert... :D

Yes that poster was cool for sure.But that blue /white fangs logo next to the poster was kind of cool also.:smirk:
