Can someone let me know what Gen 1 brake pads would go for a set? Is there a lot of labour involved if one were to do it themselves? What would be a fair shop rate?

Thanks!

Depends. If you want to Paypal me the shipping I'll send you free (90% left) stock Dodge front brake pads (same as Gen 2). If you want better I have a set of EBC Greens that I used to Portland and back (1300 miles) for $50 (and I pay the freight). Pads available from JonB EBC REDS (Ceramics) for about a C note and shipping.

I would take RTTTTed up on his offer for the EBC's. I have EBC Greens on my 94..no squeel or DUST. Easy change up front just pull pin and drop in pads you will need a tool or pair of needle nose pliers to push in the pistons on the rears to install the pads. You will have better stopping power with the stock pads over the EBC Greens. If you plan on tracking the car go with stock or EBC Red's.
