Seems odd that it has a salvage title just for "getting hit on the door" Probably alot more to the story than meets the eye.

I don't understand why a bumper, headlight and fender makes it salvage. Doesn't it have to be a big dollar/ percentage repair to make it salvage? If it was any other car would such repairs cause it to be 'salvage'? Curious....

In the case of the one I posted, it was a complete farce...there is nothing on the car that would warrant it being written off. I suspect that the owner didn't want it back and "arranged" something with the adjuster. The repair estimate was $57k for a car that needed a headlight, radiator, bumper cover, ac condenser, 1 wheel repair, 1 fender repair, 1 tire and both headlight mount panels.

I don't know what the hell it is with 2009 VOI cars...there was another one at a salvage auction last week and another one this week.

BTW...which one of you guys was having a little too much fun at VOI?
