The dealership just got my engine back from an Arrow rebuild, but the stock exhaust manifolds are cracked. I looked around and decided to get a set of M&M's. I spoke to Matt this morning and my new headers are shipping out today. I wasn't planning on buying headers right now, but if my stock ones are cracked and the engine is already out of the car, why not?
This "free" warranty rebuild sure is getting expensive!:D New headers, clutch, clutch master and slave cylinder, Woodhouse engine and tranny mounts. All of these "while it's already apart" things start to add up after a while. Oh well, I should have a damn good running car when it finally gets put back together.

Very smart in replacing those parts while it is out. Should be a great driving car! Wish mine had new engine mounts in it!

Matt at M&M is good people and you will be very happy with their headers. Since you've started down this path are you also looking to swap out your cats for hi-flows and put in a cat back? :D If I'm not mistaken, I think M&M now offers a complete exhaust package.

Already cat-less and running the Mopar race exhaust or I would. This think should be pretty damn loud now.

Might as well unbolt your heads and send them Greg Good for some lovin', I mean, you're going to have the stock manifold unbolted anyway, LOL. :D "Might as well!"

I was already running through all that in my head. I figured while Arrow had it apart, maybe have them put in cam in. Then if they were going to do that, they might as well put forged pistons and rods in. Maybe send the heads to GG as well.

Thank God when I called Arrow to check on these things they told me they were only allowed to put warranty re-builds back to stock specs. That was the best news I could have gotten! It could have gotten out of hand real quick!

I have this same combination M&M and that 3" exhaust and catless and actually it's not bad. At 80mph in 6th with 3.55's it's actually in a nice dead spot and it's somewhat quiet.

The M&M's are great tubes .. You'll like them.

They can do whatever you want them to, but they said when it's a warranty rebuild, they have to put it back to stock. I guess they might be able to get away with port and polishing the intake. Since it's still the stock parts, they might be able to sneak it by the Chrysler tech that inspects the rebuilds.

I've got 3.33's in mine. Guess I'll just have to cruise a little faster than 80 to get that dead spot.:D

oh i wasn't calling BS on you..... seems funny if its their own parts/service they can find a way to make it work.

and i seem to recall them not warrantying an engine with the ported manifold done by them ?

No worries. I was willing to pay for some extra work, but they said a Chrysler warranty tech oversees everything on warranty work. I wish I could have gotten a little extra work done.

At VOI Arrow had a Gen4 to Gen2 or 3 top end package that was 650hp. No, I didn't get a price. I would be interested in a set of Gen4 heads for that extra 100rwhp though.
