In the 30's for sure, not $50.
It only has 700 miles on it. Still a new car. Hard to tell where the $ should be but not in the 30's for a 700 mile car....

I'd say about $39k max due to the very low miles. Non special edition red and black Vipers (no special editions in '03) demand no extra premiums as far as price goes. Use the online sites such as Autotrader, Cars.com, Ebay, and the VCA classifieds in your negotiation.

As much as I would want to say that this car should be in the $30s unfortunately it probably won't be. Sadly just about any dealer that gets the car is going to be asking around $50K or more for the car but with that being said, it does not mean that is what the car is worth, I feel it is probably worth around $40,000 - $42,000. To be honest, if I were you, I would take the money and go for a newer model. For $40s you can get a relatively low mileage 2005 or 2006 depending on where you look and time of year you purchase. Heck if you want more power, for $40s you can get a supercharged 03 or 04. Personally I feel that the fact that there is 700 miles is only personal preference. Be prepared to take a HUGE hit on the car as soon as you put a few miles on it, because, afterall, all you are paying for is the low mileage. Once the miles rack up it just becomes another silver SRT which is also a less desirable color.

Somewhat surprisingly, I also agree with Tiger! The dealer is asking a premium because of the unusually low mileage. However, most Vipers have relatively low mileage. My 2000RT/10 has 24K and is considered by some to be high mileage. For most other cars that is not the case. I would say 40K is about right and not very much more.

Its up to the buyer weather or not the miles are worth it.. You'd be surprised. I bet they sell the car in the upper 40's-50k. If you are ok with mileage in the teens-20's, you have a million sellers to work against each other. Not so much with a 700 mile car. Or a specific color combo,etc,etc. I agree with most of the comments. But they might find a buyer who falls in love, with the mileage, who knows

I agree, this is a basically a new (although out of warranty) car.
Like Taximan said there are tons of them with 15-20K on them. But a seven year old car with 700?? None.
So it will be worth it to someone. That few miles there isn't even a crease in the leather.

$39k The low mileage won't translate to a big price difference in this case. This is a $50k SRT10

This past July I paid 46.5 for a 2003 Red SRT/10 vert with 2,200 miles, yeah I know I paid a premium now, but color and low mileage was important too me then, now that I have 4,400 on the clock, I guess I've taken my depreciation hit by now........but no plans to sell, no regrets, we absolutely love this beast!!
there is always a buyer willing to pay a premium. look at the person who paid that rediculous amount of money at BJ auction this year.
IMO, unless you are looking to store a car and preserve it, super low miles dont add much to the cost. of curse they do add some value but not much.

I am amazed at how low mileage is on most vipers for sale. When i was in Scottsdale we took in a 2008 with 1k and only paid 62k for it! Also got a 2005 (i think) 911 turbo S. Had 15k on the odo and we bought it for 51k! That day we got a steal.

When I was shopping in July I found a 2003 at a dealer in Boston with 14K miles on it and they wanted $44k for it. I didn't buy the car but they sold it fairly quickly at that price, so I can see why a car with 700 miles would be worth $50k.
FYI, if you take your time and hold out for the right deal, you can do better. I ended up buying an 06 with only 3500 miles on it for $46k. It had Corsas, PS2's, a custom car cover and other stuff too. I'm glad I held out!

There are some dealers that still have new 06 cars in the 80's and there are a few low mile 06 coupes I've seen listed in the 60's. No way I would pay those prices for an 06 new or used when used 08 cars are selling in the same range.

Problem with this car is once you drive it - the value will drop like a rock. $40k to $45k is fair for only having 700 miles. Once you put on 2-5k miles it will drop another $5k IMHO....
