We never had issues with HRE chome. However then again, we do not sell many of their chrome stuff. Usually polished if people want shiny.

I'm not sure of the series but I have the split 5 spokes with bolts around the perimeter. The chrome is peeling in the center sections starting from the bolt holes. The holes themselves have little or no chrome down in them. I use a padded socket when I remove them but they continue to peel. One drum has splits in the chrome. They are about 5 years old and have seen less than 10,000 miles. From looking at their website I think HRE learned from their experience and don't seem to offer many chrome wheels anymore just polished.
