I am interested in a set of wheels someone is selling in Clarence Creek, but he isn't really interested in working with someone remote. Is anyone in this area that could take a look at the wheels for me? Thanks.

I'm coming to Hammond on Monday (2/21) to purchase the wheels. I've never been to Canada. Does anyone know if there will be an issue taking the wheels back to the US?

Well, if you have never been here first tip is to have your pasport or they wont let you back in!

As for the return, they will ask what you have. You say wheels. They will ask for you to provide paperwork shwoing the value of what you paid (be sure to get one).

Depending on the value of the paperwork, they may send you to the US tax building where you will pay sales tax on the value of the paperwork.

Pay Uncle Sam and be gone!

Thats about it! Too bad you are all the way over there. Would say lets grab a coffee.....

13 hours round trip. Probably plenty of Coke, but not the powder. :D

Thanks. Yes, I'll have my passport and I guess I'll bring some extra cash for Uncle Sam. I'm actually driving up Sunday night and staying in Ottawa. Not sure where you are, but I'll be crossing the Thousand Island Bridge on Monday.

Well, a fun trip across the border - no strip searches, so that was good. I now have these wheels at my house, waiting for new tires.
Viper Rims

Also had a great time talking with Shawn and checking out his snake pit. Trust me, it was sweet.

Now, if spring would finally get here...

Yeah, notice the date on the photo was August. It would be nice to see that green stuff again.

They appear to be originals. I don't know why someone would put slicks on them and use them at the track. :dunno: The guy that had them has a salvage business and he got these from a Ford dealership that closed. The center caps alone were worth the price and trip. And thanks, racerjim, for letting me know about them. :2tu:
