Tonight my wife picks up my new Autoweek and looked at the 2012 Dodge Charger on the cover. She turns to me and says that she is certain that she saw three black ones ripping along 680 south yesterday, Friday, at about 3PM nose to tail at a relatively high, 90+, rate of speed. None of the cars had plates and she says that the grill area was the same and the side Viper vent treatment looked the same. Anyone know if in fact the new Charger is visiting California?

Probably was, the SRT8 test mules are in service, I'm sure. I'm keeping my 2007 Superbee.:headbang: While the new 6.4 is rocking (the new Challengers are posting some very fast numbers), my 6.1 is no slouch. That grill, plus the same old 5-speed makes it a little disappointing to me.

Keep your Superbee. its the only Charger I love. I do like the new SRT Challengers with 6.4 and would of traded my vette for it if it did NOT have the white interior. I have a daughter and grand daughter that would make that interior look like hell after a couple of months.

My brother has a 2007 SuperBee and he is keeping it for similar reasons. He really HATES the way the new grill sticks out--he pointed out the Volvo cars and some Mitsubishi grills that stick out in a similar fashion--yuck... Sale lost...

Only the 1,492 (1100 US / 392 Canada) Inaugural Edition 392 Challengers have the white interior. All other 392 SRT's have the slate/black seats.

My mother was telling me a few years ago she had seen one of the new (at that time) 300's in vert form on the highway. I said they dont make them. She said she was sure.

Two weeks later we all saw the vert conversion companies prototypes.

Always possible. Especially in Cali.

680 south? Sounds like a return to SoCal from Infineon. Dodge (SRT in particular) seem to visit Sonoma fairly often.
