How to remove shocks?

After reading the Eibach spring thread, I thought I would search to see if anyone had posted some instructions on removing the shocks on a GTS, but couldn't find one. I've heard many saying it's very easy, but it would be great if someone could post a write up with pictures for those of us who are slightly mechanically-challenged. Also, could this be done with hand tools or would pneumatics be needed? I'd like to try adjusting my stock Koni's sometime.

It's really easier than the write up makes it appear.

Biggest tip I can provide is to find a local shop that can compress the coil overs to remove them for you. Takes only minutes and usually you throw the mechanic a 20 dollar bill and you're good.

Messing with those cheap AutoZone compression tools are a joke. You'll waste too much time and frustration going that route.
