Oh ok. Good to know..

Costan, the most relevant point here is that the 96 RT/10 has the "insert windows" just like the 92-95 RT 10s making it more similar to a GEN 1, plus the HP was rated at only 415, which is in between Gen 1 and 2.

Hey James, I knew about the HP being at 415 for the 96 RT/10, I just wasn't sure if it was upgraded and considered a GEN II mid year. I have the 1997 Viper Brochure booklet that shows both RT/10 and GTS, which I've read through several times and I'm sure probably states the GEN II RT/10 starting in 97. Either way, I was wrong and I'm glad I know now. :2tu:

I would like to buy a Viper 2000-2002 with less than 10000 miles, red or black, stock, no body dents. I am looking to spend between 33,000 and 37,000. Is this realistic? This would be my first Viper.

Did you buy one yet. Sam's car is a killer deal. This mean green machine belongs to one of the ladies who drove up to the Smokey's with the group. Lifetime memories are waiting to be made so pull the trigger before another summer comes and goes.
