Bad plug wire or intermittent connection on #3 cylinder? It might not set the misfire code if it's not constant. Just a thought .

The 96' PCM doesn't monitor for misfires. I can unplug 9 plug wires, start the car and it won't pop the CEL :omg: So its certainly a possibility. It sounds ok at idle, but with a loud V10, I guess hearing a misfire could easily be missed.

It wants the yellow wheels back.

Why are you posting at 5:23am on a Saturday morning?? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you never went to bed last night. :D

Before. Tony checked them to see if one of them could possibly be the culprit. He said they were fine on his "before" and "after" tests, so that wasn't the problem. I also checked the injector harness with a noid light to verify all were pulsating and one wasn't stuck open.
