I have to tell you (and others) some highlights of the story around my dealership crashed RT/10:

1) The car was approx. 3 weeks at his dealership - mainly, because I was not in a hurry and took over possession of my FE GTS in that time frame. I drove the new to me GTS and had a lot of fun. It was a Thursday, and I was supposed to pick up the RT/10 next Saturday, when I got a call from "him". The oil pan has a crack in the front. I was puzzled because the oil pan was leaking when I brought the car in to have it fixed together with other service work..but the leak was at the rear of the oil pan, next to the clutch. Never in front. So we discussed and he promised to weld the oil pan and fix the problem till Saturday. On Friday I got the call from his wife, that there might be a small problem. The car has been damaged "slightly" due to an accident. I learned later that during one of his final high speed test drives to see whether the welded oil pan is no more leaking he lost control and crashed the car...fact is, during the 3 weeks in his dealership they did well in cracking the oil pan - not that it really matters any more after he totaled the car. :crazy2:

2) Another one? You think it cant get better? A few weeks after he crashed my RT/10 he sent me the bills for the service work he has done to my car ... I think it was way over 5000 US-$. It took me all the way through court to get rid of his bills, but he always emphasized during the court proceedings that I have to pay his bills, also he crashed and totaled the car! Go figure

3) OK - a last one - the best one - for today: his last words in front of the judge before the verdict was spoken: he (me, he meant me!) must have dropped a crashed car at my dealership, because the damage to the RT/10 according to the three (!) expert opinions could have never been caused by his accident....
