I can hear the motor or regulator but it does not move, nothing. It is all the way down. Never any issues before. Whats the problem?

The drivers side works fine.

thanks, Kevin.

p.s.- when is Chuck back?

It could be as simple as a little plastic clip breaking, BUT most of the time the regulator gooes boom. Not cheap either.

I can hear the motor? is the regulator different? does it make noise? If I turn my head and do not look at it, when I'm trying to roll the window up, it sounds exactly like it is working-if that makes any sense.

Kevin, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it...

But, did you try wiggling and moving the wires around down where the door is attached by the hinges to the car? Sometimes the wires can get pinched, and the window won't go up. The first day my car was delivered by Gary Almond, I rolled my driver's side window down, but then immediately it wouldn't roll back up. Gary Almond told me about this issue and wiggled/moved the wires around like I just mentioned and the window went back up, no problem. I've never had any issues since.

I had a similar problem with my 2000 rt10 on the driver's side. It would roll up, but would do so very slow and would actually pause for a sec or two halfway. I simply had the motor cleaned and it worked great after that.

My driver's side window goes up slower then my passenger side. I was thinking I might need a new motor for it..

Jon B PartsRack or Chuck TATOR or Mike 99RT10 have the clip. Black is passenger side, white is drivers. While you are at it grease the sliders for the window.

I need the clip too, mine broke and previous owner tried to glue/dhesive it back together. Blah

found mine on EBay for $50 plus $10 shipping, my regulator was all twisted up but I fixed it with new cables and works great now.
