Anyone have a good setup for ACR rain tire/wheels? Would like to run Hoosier rain tires but sizes not available for stock ACR wheels. Looks like I would need to go to 18' wheels all the way around. Wondering if the 305's would work on the front?? Hoping someone has a know good setup recommendation. Don't want to reinvent the wheel (excuse the pun).

BTW, was at Mid OH monday in the rain on a new set of PSC's. They are not good in the rain. Have seen mixed opinions about their ability on wet track. My opinion is they are like driving on ice!

I was caught in the rain this past weekend at Autobahn too....:(

I swapped my R6s for PS2s.. Still no fun....

Michelin makes "rains" in Viper sizes. One of the guys in our track gang got a set last year at Viper Days at Hallett.
He used them in the rain about three weeks ago. Said it was like dry pavement...:dunno:

If I remember correctly, they weren't cheap.

18-19 and 18-18 "rains" are available. Lots were in use at Sebring this past weekend. Contact your club vendors?

Back when I raced. When it rained I would use skinnier tires. The thinking was it helped with the hydroplaning problem. The guys at Hoosier were a great help but I would try and get lots off opinions before you buy rims.
