Hi Everyone!
Hopefully everyone is all rested up after the July 4th weekend.
The Viper Club is hitting the road and going to the Castle in the Clouds. So check your oil and tire pressure and come out for a great cruise to the castle. Scott Tickler is sponsoring the event. He has planned out a great route to the castle. So we will meet at exit 5 off of 93 heading north in New Hampshire. At the end of the exit, take a left and the Park and Ride is on your right. We are planning on meeting for 9:45 and leaving at 10:00 sharp.
We have a good cruise planned out through the back roads to the castle. We should arrive around 12:00 to 12:30 depending on the traffic and *** stops.
Scott has set it up so the Vipers will get special parking on the grass.
We will have lunch in the dining room when we arrive.
Sounds like a sweet deal to me. After lunch anyone interested can do the castle tour. Regular price was $15.00; Scott Tickler got us a group rate of $10.00 per person.
The Castle is cool looking. It’s a 16 room mansion and sits on the top of the mountain overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. It was built in 1914 by the industrialist Thomas Plant. It’s a heavy oak timber and stone work construction. He hired the best craftsman he could find in that era, and the workmanship they did was considered state- of-the art at the time. should have a good turnout, for people have been talking about it all year.
