Hey guys,
I've search the forums and it may be my query skills but I can't get the exact instructions for getting the viper started today.

The symptoms started last night- would not turn over and a Alarm set light flashing. Completely dead battery behavior.

After hooking up 2 jump boxes the car would fire up then die after 1 second.

I replaced the battery this am. Car is behaving as it did when the jump boxes were connected. I think I fixed the root cause. Now I need help to either recycle the alarm or if I is something else.

Also would be helpful to know what it is not.

Thanks-

I can be reached by cell 617 308-7530 if anyone wants to call with guidance. Or I am in Plymouth if anyone is in the area and wants to fix a Viper for a beer.

Thanks

Eric

NO ONE should post this type of solution as it involves security system...info that should not be open for the world to see!!!If a Viper owner needs help, said help is readily available from a variety of sources...providing, of course, that said owner "checks out".

Sorry, didn't mean to get anyone upset!!! Since it was not clear what the nature of the fix was, there was no way of telling it was super secret stuff for private eyes only.

This info is published but requires some consideration (and experimentation on my part)... I don't know Steve's trick but I do know the arm/disarm inputs on my '94 alarm module...and I have a hidden button installed just in case it wacks out.

I'd advise you not to store your gen 1 with the alarm "on"... unless you keep the battery on a tender.
