Perfect launch, the front tires were just barely skimming the track. Nice!

Does somebody make a Powerglide adatpter kit? seems like there wouldn't be much demand for one to go behind a Viper motor. Altough, most of the other super quick twin turbo runs i've heard sound like 2 speed, powerglide type transmissions. he obliterated the camaro next to him and that car had enough power to lift the front end in the air... this is crazy fast.

Sal's got one of the sickest viper's ever made hands down. Not much left to hit a 6 sec pass.

Thanks for all the compliments and thanks to gtex for the thread. It has definitely been a challenging road taking this car to the next level while trying to maintain some form of streetability.

Wow:omg: Announcer pointed out that it's a Big Block Viper...

They classify my car as a "Big Block" because of the cubic inches. :D

I purchased the PG adapter kit from SVSi back in 2006. If I remember correctly, the kit was developed in conjuction with SVSi and Coan Racing. As far as I know, SVSi is no longer in business. Therefore the only option anyone would have as far as obtaining a PG adapter kit for a Viper would be through Coan Racing.

Great run. Looks very well built and driven. 60ft time anyone? I am guessing its in the sub 1.2s range

On that run it was a 1.22 60'. I have been a best of 1.19 60' but the car wheelied 100' out and I had to abort the run.

Perfect run indeed! Squeeze out a 6 Sal!

There's enough power left on the table to easily run 6's and it's coming. I have a few more things to review and sort out before I can go for that 6 second pass.

Haul the car to Texas so I can see it run, and I'll buy you a beer :)

any idea what kind of power it's putting to the ground?

I'm not sure about the whole Texas thing, but the beer part sounds good! :D

As for power, I don't spend much time on dynos. If I had to guess based on some crude math, I would say on the 201mph pass factoring loss through torque converter we were making an average of 2500hp flywheel keeping in mind I'm not hitting 30psi until 3.5 seconds into the run. Using crude math again, fully wicked which I believe is around 40psi we're thinking it will make somewhere around 3000-3200hp flywheel.
