Hey All,

After about 4 months of waiting, I finally received my new set of wheels from 360 Forged!!! This was one hell of an experience because this was the 2nd set to only AbsoluteHank's (Ryan's) concave set and it took the company forever to get everything right for the setup. Plus, it made everything that much more frustrating when I would try to contact them and they would always tell me "It will be another two weeks" every time. While I love the wheels, it was horrendous trying to deal with them.

They are the concave mesh style with a matte black center and gloss black lips and inner. I'm running 285/30/19 and 345/25/20 in the rear with Nitto Invo's. So far, I love them!!! I am probably going to spend tonight and tomorrow mounting them along with a set of Eibach lowering springs and caps that I picked up also from AbsoluteHank.

I'll post more (and better) pics and a video when the wheels are mounted but here are a few teasers....

Unfortunately for the OP, Wheel$forle$$ (Gerry Corbo) sold him this set via Ebay when we were not even able to produce them yet. As he stated above his vendor didn't communicate to him and he was forced to go directly to the shop where as Ryan (Absolutehank) was able to get constant updates from me a VCA vendor regarding his set.

There are too many vendors out there that will take the money and run, and then provide horrible service after the sale. We were in the process of developing this wheel for the first time and we had major issues with both sets, as Ryan can attest. These are the only two sets that will be made for the Gen 3-4, and I spoke with the OP after I realized he was having a tough time and told him we would refund anything he had paid, in full, no questions asked for having to deal with a situation that his vendor didn't make him aware of.

As I have told him I am extremely sorry for the long wait time, and the communication issues that his vendor Wheel$forle$$ should have taken care of for him.

Brian if you wash them up before you put them on it will remove that packing film on the out lip. If it doesn't come off use a clay bar on it and it will come out spotless. The plastic on the bubble wrap leaves those marks on the gloss surfaces.

Hey Andy,

I appreciate the call that you gave me during the wheel construction. But if 360 was not able to make the wheels, then they should have just refunded my deposit and said "We're sorry, but we can't fill your order. But, we'd be happy to make something else for you.". I got nothing like that. It was awful trying to get in touch with the company. Consistent excuses. Not knowing the truth about the wheel status made things much more frustrating. While Gerry maybe should not have sold the wheels to me, 360 could have had this straightened out in a much more proffessional way.

Andy, you were a nice guy to deal with, but 360 made it much more difficult than the experience needed to be.

FYI: These wheels are still advertised on a very reputable Viper parts dealer as being available. http://www.roeracing.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=1040&idcategory=310

Brian I understand your frustration, but you have to realize that this had way more to do with the vendor you selected than 360. I'll try and explain it this way, if you were to order say a Paxton Supercharger from Jon B here on the board, and then he quit communicating with you, and then you decided to call Paxton to figure out what was going on with your order and they didn't know who you were and or had a difficult time dealing with this single order out of the 100's of orders that were currently in production would that be something like you experienced?

These larger parent companies have these outside vendors for a reason. The vendor gets to make a little money in exchange for handling the communication between the customer and the company making the product. It goes considerably smoother as the vendor is more familiar with the inner workings of the parent company and is supposed to help facilitate the transaction from beginning to end.

And believe me you are 100% correct that the staff you spoke with at Forged Distributing should have handled it better. We no longer have an outside direct to customer sales staff that work for us, the people you were talking with handle vendor accounts only. And another reason they were so clueless about your set is because it was basically a one off beta type set that was not a standard production piece at this time.

I called Alain the day I first heard of your situation and asked him if we could immediatly refund your money if you wanted us to and he said "absolutely, whatever the guy wants we'll do it." You chose to stick it out after I made you aware of all of the things that your vendor should have informed you of.

I understand your frustration, but you have to realize that this all falls on the vendor you chose. Case in point Ryan (AbsoluteHank), Alain, and I worked together on this project for his car and spoke almost every single day throughout the process. There were times that we were all frustrated, but at every step of the way we had a plan A, B, and C for Ryan. That was because of time I have spent with the company and my commitment to the Viper Community.

As for the photos on the Roe website, I'm sure they were a mass marketing type photo of our entire portfolio and it needs to be corrected. I bet you that if you ordered a set from Roe though, Shawn would call us first. He would have found out that we couldn't do it before taking your money and you would have been better off for it.

You bought from one of the slimiest guys out there, that just wanted to take your money, and then he was pushy with us just to make a sale without your best interests at heart. Think about it this way that vendor claims to be the biggest and best seller of our products and he has it plastered all of the web. Do you think for one second that he didn't know we couldn't do those wheels before he sold them to you?

I'm always on our customers side I just want you to place the blame correctly. I told you before that even though I am frustrated with what he did that I would help you, and I still will so anytime you want to talk or have any questions shoot me a pm or give me a call.

I gotta go and pack for an early morning flight to the in-laws so wish me luck :D

All other things aside, they look fantastic and I'm disappointed to hear you won't be making more. I'd think that with the bugs figured out they would be very hot ticket item.

No problem Carlo, we actually had to finish both sets by hand. We were also very excited about it, as it would also open up the FGT market also. The last thing I want though is to see an unhappy customer like Brian above so if we ever decide to get back on the project it will take some retooling.

Brian I will be in Columbus OH for the next two weeks so just shoot me a pm or call if you have any other problems or questions and i'll do what I can.

360 Forged makes a good product, but they are also directly responsible for who they have promoting their brand. When they have a guy that only cares about making his $100 per sale on a $6,000 set of wheels, you can't expect top level customer service. That kind of person only thinks in volume. Does this guy even have an LLC or Tax ID # for his business?

360 Forged used to command a premium in this industry, and used to be regarded equal with the top level brands. This individual has reduced them to a bargain-basement ******-out label. Again, it is 360's choice to have him as a representative.

Andy is top-notch, one of the best. Even so, his good deeds get quickly reduced to average due to this other guy bringing the brand name down. It is all about averages...

Glad that the wheels finally came.
My buddy that owns a C6Z06 had a really bad experience with 360 Forged. Super long wait, and a few bolts were missing on the wheels. Not to mention parts that were painted on. Instead of powdercoated. The list goes on and on. I also hear that they operate using different company names too..

Hopefully that was not in the last year or since we took them over. Forged Distributing is the parent company and 360 is one of our lines. The owner of ADV.1 was the owner when 360 was run into the ground.

Nineball is dead on, until we get rid of Wheelsforless we will always hear these storys.

Having just had an experience of my own, I will say that who you buy from is important, and Nineball and Andy are two of the more reputable around, not just on this board. It is a shame to see Andy defending a deal which offered nothing in return other than headache.

I'm going to try to get the wheels on tonight and post some pics.

I only worked with Andy a little bit during the wheel manufacture process and he was a very nice guy. In the future, I'll recommend going through Andy for a good set of wheels. Unfortunately, I did not know the stories about Gerry at Wheelsforless and figured a set of wheels from Roe/Andy/Wheelsforless were all the same.

Really curious to see how they look once mounted! I love the wheel choice you made. Too bad for everyone else that it may be the only set ever made, but I guess that's great for you.....never see 'em on anyone else's Viper!

I can't wait to see these mounted either -- AMAZING wheel!

Will these be produced, or are they just a 'one-off'? I think they would be perfect for my future plans.

We need to cut that vendor off; period. Glad you got them and going forward just let me know what you need.

It won't happen. Alain wouldn't get rid of his volume selling *****. That is okay though, because $'s bad service and delivery times have netted me quite a few sales towards other brands instead. And, I still make a profit doing it. ;)

Okay, so my bro-in-law and I just finished the install tonight and I've got to say (even with the dirty car), I love the wheels and the new look. The car looks so bad a$$ now. I tried to take pictures along the way of the install showing before and after shots. I'm no pro photographer, but I think you'll get the idea. I'll post some really good shots later once my wife takes them! I've included some shots of the install of the new shocks and springs courtesy of Eibach and ...Lowering caps from AbsoluteHank (Thanks Ryan). Enjoy!

I forgot to take a "before" shot of the front shocks, but here is a nice after shot, and when I say nice I mean crappy.

All four wheels on... nothing looks to be sticking out too much. Hopefully the first test drive tomorrow goes well. I'll be getting an alignment before the region's Christmas Party tomorrow.

One final pic showing our ending wheel gap. Its hard to tell from my crappy pictures, but I think we're looking at a 1.5" drop.

+1 on getting some color on those calipers. If your going to leave the car all black then go with something wild on the caliper colors(like lambo lime green or pearl orange something really bright) That'll make those bad ass wheels look even better!
