Damn that looks good! I know you're making these yourself and you mentioned saving weight in another post, so I assume you aren't wrapping your stock pieces. What the heck kind of set-up have you got to mould this stuff? It looks incredible!

I'm doing this the old fashion way.... making a mould, hand lay the CF, hand trimmed, sanded and polished..... no fancy equipment, just elbow grease...oh yeah- plenty of mistakes before good parts came out....

I prefer to make original parts and not overlays because saves weight and more importantly, i wanna keep the originals in top condition in case I change my mind later....

I like the door sill pieces. The factory plastic gets nicked up and scraped easily. How durable is the finish? Approximate cost?

I have put a couple of coats of Auto Clear Coat on the epoxy resin to prevent UV degradation... although I prefer the PE resin because it's more clear.... either way they are both durable and don't chip easily and both can be buffed out easily if scratched with the same stuff u use on ur paint....

Very impressive work!! Real leather/alcantara/and carbon fiber MUST be standard in the Gen V!! Are you doing the top part of the door panel in CF, or perhaps the door pull and the latch surround in CF? The bottom of the door panel in alcantara, and the rest in CF would be SWEETT!!!

alcantara + CF is sweet ala F-car scud and lambos

I will make anything I am capable of if there is some interest... I plan on selling some to recoup money spent but it's not a primary or even a secondary source of income for me, it's a hobby and my passion for vipers that drives me to make stuff... thanx

I would love to make some of those items, my only prob is that I don't have a Gen II to mold parts from... if someone is willing to loan me a part, I would be happy to make the items... thanx
