Probably not a lot of info here as it is usually a ricer deal, or a big hp car (1200+) type of thing like UGR Lambo's and whatnot. As a matter of fact, I think UGR has the current record.

Yeah UGR has the record now. Is this one of the viper weak spots? You see 60-130mph times on all other forums but viper forums. I dont think its a Ricer deal tho.

I only see it mentioned alongside highly modified cars. I rarely see it for stock cars...if ever.

I would say not. Never timed it, but I'm not sure I could turn the stop watch on and off that fast.

id imagine its right around the 8.5 area for a gen 3, and about 8 for the gen 4. Just guesses though.

I think the Viper community skews more towards lap times as the measuring stick, though standing mile has been popular of late too.

you dont hear too many viper guys doing that kind of racing. its my personal favorite but never thought of recording it or timing it.

the lambo guys use a vbox for that mostly it seems http://www.vboxusa.com/

Stock gen3 is 9.6

Stock gen4 is 7.6

For comparisons sake

Stock 485 hp gtr is 10.5
Stock ctsv is 10.2
Stock f430 is 9.9
Stock 530 hp gtr is 9.4
Stock z06 is 8.1
Stock zr1 is 7.6

My personal best when my weight reduced 32xx pound gen3 with 490 rwhp was 7.8 however this was not gps verified nor was my route checked for no more than a 2 percent grade so could never be added to any list ect. And was merely me having fun.

Step1 buy a $400 gps vrified vbox

Step 2 find a level surface

Step 3 start at any mph below 60 that you wish. A common misconception is you must start from 60 mph. Timing simply starts at 60 mph. 30 mph in first gear was what I used to catapult to 55 mph then a hard shift in acellerating quite nice at the start of 60 mph

Step4 your vbox is capable of checking your testing zone for the percentage of grade. More than a 2 percent grade and your gps verified 60-130 times will not be excepted by sixspeedonline ect

Ive given up drag raceing!!!! Will convert to 60-130 after I buy the gps verified timer..

465 rwhp= 12.1 at 119 on average

486 rwhp=11. 9 at 121 on average

499 rwhp=11. 8 at 122 on average

527 rwhp=11. 6 at 124 on average

556 rwhp= cant put the power down in first or second with the new nitto invois! Let the psi all the way down to 20 psi warm and still just spin.

Comes a time when you have to decide if your serious and purchase drag radials ect and drive train upgrades.

Ill be converting to 60-130 data from now on. You can easily use street tires on a 550 rwhp car and get good data 60-130, with little risk to your drivetrain
