Just found out that my membership which was re-upped last May is now expired.All memberships are renewed on Jan 1.....so I lost 5 months of membership.....BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

You paid a full year amount I am guessing. Yes, I also give your situation a BOOOOO unless you were told when you signed up.
I think that going to an annual membership keeping everyone on the same calendar is a good idea, but mid-year should be pro-rated.

I f you renewed your membership in May then it expired and should have Dec 31. If you were a new member then you were pro-rated in May and didn't have to pay for the full year.

Your join date is 'JUL 2003'...the membership process has worked this way since I joined...2008.

Most of us took some kind of beating the first year since it isn't pro-rated. Just think, you'll get a better bargain THIS year!

As a renewing VCA member the rates $115.00 for standard and $150.00 for the Venom option.

If I decide to renew....how do I go about getting on the e-mail list for my chapter? I signed up last year, and even e-mailed the lead for this chapter and never heard back......
I remember taking a bath the first year I signed up as well, but to be honest (this sounds really corny) I couldn't wait to sign up!
I never ever wanted to be part of the Camaro Club or Corvette Club. I thought that was the lamest thing ever. The Viper Club is really worth the membership.

Contact your region president and let He/She know you have not been getting e-mails. They e-mail they have on file for you could be wrong.
