No, not at all, but there will be other components that will need to removed. Send me an email and I'll send you one of our general install articles..

Welcome :)

I have not installed headers on mine yet, but I believe your trying to remove too much? I certainly don't think you need to remove the heads. Hopefully you have access to a lift, and I believe you'll have to loosen the motor mounts a bit.

I'm sure other 'more qualified' Viperholics will chime in soon with better details. (Like Toddy did, we must have been typing at the same time)

No need for a lift. I took care of mine from ground with the car sitting on jack stands. I upgraded to Woodhouse motor mounts while installing headers, so I am not sure if the OEM headers would have come out without them removed. The intake manifold or heads DO NOT have to be removed.

They are not bad to install. You do not need to remove the heads or anything like that. Mitch on our tech line has installed many and can walk you through step by step and even on the weekend... Plan a good day or so for install.

i am afraid to disassemble a running engine but it semms to me that is impossoble to get out the factory headers. there is abolutly no space between the frame ant the engine. also i have no idea to put in the much bigger new aftermarket headers.
did someone have made pictures during the instalation? this can be very helpful for me.
about the problem with a car lift. this is not really a problem. i have one ;) also a engine crane tho lift the engine a bit
what about the Woodhouse motor mounts. are this a useful upgrade?

GREAT!
thank you very much. this is really helpful.
in particular because I am interested in the ACR-X header.

the next part will be very tricky. find a dealer who sells a ACR-X header in Europe. this would be funny.

greetings from Austria
