Gen4 throttle lag mod

I tried a differiant approach to improving the throttle response of my 08 Viper.
I did the standard throttle calibration steps but added a 3/4" wood spacer behind the accelerator pedal.
It appears this change has made a significant improvement!

I'm looking for other Gen 4 owners try this so I know it's not just my imagination.

calib.steps below:

1. Insert key in ignition , turn key to the far right but don't start the car.
2. Depress accelerater quickly to the floor with the 3/4" spacer behind it. (hold it there)
3. Turn the ignition switch to off, then release the gas pedal, remove the spacer. (done)
Start and drive as normal.

Probably won't hold. That part of the calibration is floating, and it will alter it back [or set a code for out of range] over a short time period, depending on how they set it up originally.

What this is in effect doing, is changing the range so that 0-75% pedal = 0-100% throttle, rather than 0-100/0-100. It is having an effect on the respose rate [The same thing I have preached time and time again is the REAL problem with the Gen-4 DWB setup, not the hardware itself]

Hmmmmmm...Interresting & good find/info! That was the main reason I went to the Mopar ECU. Even if it doesn't hold the setting and "learns" the correct range after a while - it only takes seconds to reprogram & the small wood block stores easily in the trunk with the tire kit.

It finally stopped raining so I took it out again today. The throttle still seems better than before, I drove an 08 with the Mopar ECM and it wasnt any better than mine is today.
I'll give it another 5 cycles and report back. (no CEL, no hidden codes either, I do let it warm up to operating temp. before putting it in gear).
