Today while cleaning up the car I decided to try to put my window back in my 94. It had been out for a year and the car is in a garage with a cover.

I had no idea why I even tried to put it back in:crazy2:.The window went in a little crooked then i just pushed a little and BAM the thing blew up into a thousand pieces and went inside the car and all over the trunk ***! Well after 2 hours of clean up I am finally done.I did a search but,I am to pissed to look more at this time.

I was wondering if anyone knows of an after market plexiglass replacement ?

Thanks for any help and Happy Easter.

I don't either... however, I think what I might do, is take my currently not broken window, take the lock gear off of it, and when I go to replace the rubber (cause I need to.... yikes) I'm going to trace the outline of it on a new sheet of plexiglass, and make a couple copies... if you're interested, I could make you a copy and ship it to ya, depending on how expensive it is to ship and so on.

Just a thought.

I broke the window in my 95 just a few weeks ago trying to pull the factory seal off and put a new one on. Should have just left it alone as it only had a couple small cracks in it.

I wound up purchasing a good used one from Don Scharf Automotive, just ask for Paul (715)-479-8597. Price was very good and window was in good shape. Also I know X2 collision had some new in the box ones for a descent price as well.

not that this would help you but *** did dodge even make the back window removable in the first place, cause if the Bitc... don't break the seal rots out..

It makes a HUGE difference when cruising around with no top or windows. If you leave the back window in, you get beat all to crap by the wind. Removing the rear window is a must for me when going *******.

Does make me want to make my own template just in case.

Sounds good. What I could do, is trace it out on paper, and send it to you to get one cut... or whatever you want. Send me a PM, so that I have your name on file, so that I don't' have to search for this thread. :)

good idea :2tu:

sounds like a good "weekend project" that i'll add to my todo list

what thickness are you thinking of using and how will you cut it? i've made straight cuts by scoring with a utility knife, but that is the extent of my plexiglass shaping skills :eater:
