being an electrical engineer i can see this possibly helping but not really. definitely not 4hp. the heads could end up positively charged when the coils are working hard (full throttle) and the head gaskets could insulate enough to not allow current dissipation under load. I specialize in DC and high voltage applications and given that spark is high voltage youd be surprised how very little can influence HV greatly. It could increase the difference of potiential which would result in a stronger spark. none the less...theres enough flow to not require an additional ground. the chain on the cam would be enough of a ground i would think. also the bolts that torque the heads down.

Damn, If I would have known that my cylinder heads needed to be eathed, then I would have done that with my half shafts too, 2 straps each.
Try that on a dyno, guaranteed results!

Dang it!! Well I'm up for the experiment....I'll try some Foster's next time and see if the concept makes any more sense. I report back later. My personal favorite beer is Labatt Maximum Ice (for sale only in Canada) followed by the Molson Canadian Cold Shots....for any of you who visit Canada, give them a try.

Some great brews are made in Canada. Unibroue makes some really good high-octane Belgian style brews. One of my favorites is la Fin Du Monde ("the end of the world"). 9% ABV
in a 750 ml cork-and-wire bottle will make sense out of this topic in no time!!

I used to drink alot of Foster's, never liked Molsen's, loved micro-brew stuff, loved Sam Adam's, Fat tire, Guinness, etc.........don't drink anymore...............................Oh yeah, earth wires.............

Great answer!! You posted it up not me. You say "we" found running more earth straps..................... simply asking what "we" found and how it was measured. If you are looking for more hp at every corner, try running without valve stem caps. Lower rotational mass yaknow.
