Have a new update for those rims , dodge rep called me back and gave me the update. The paint vendor is redoing those exact rims that they screwed up the second time. The new inspection process that has now been implimented should take care of the problem and I have not been given a new ship date but he said that when shipped they will be perfect. Anybody think repainting the exact screwed up rims a second time will create any other problems.

If they're stripped and properly prepped, there will be no issues.

Most of the issues were inside the barrel and around the lug nuts. The Dodge/SRT's credit they said it was not acceptable and are personally checking each. The other concern was just getting the rims, which meant gearing things back up for a short run by the supplier. They are committed to getting everyone a new set and considering that owners get to keep the old, that is still surprising and beneficial to all.

Didn't really know what a 1.33 looked like when I saw this thread today however since I do live in South Beach, I just saw one drive by. Couldn't tell if his wheels were chipped haha

They were concerned about the quality of the redone rims, so the process is to inspect prior to shipping as SRT wants them to be what should be acceptable on a special ACR.

UPDATE
They still seem to be having a problem with the Rims. I got mine but the packaging was terrible. Damage on two of the rims and apparently others have reported the same issues.
Anyway............still waiting for a better set.

That is my concern also, Chelsea, and unfortunately I have not been able to find the number for the guy that we were all talking to over a year ago. Am still digging for that , but I know the original individual on the fix was reassigned , so having trouble remembering who assisted later.

Just found one of the contacts and he helped look up the Vin number. As I feared the first owner already got his set of rims, and likely sold them off to someone at a profit. So SRT has already settled with this car , and unfortunately the second owner has a set of the original wheels. It is listed in the system also, so no chance to get a repair on said rims. There are wheel shops that will redo wheels for 150-200 per wheel , so that is probably the best alternative in the future.

Wish I had better news , but at least you know the situation.

No luck on wheels, but at least I got an accurate answer and it was fast!
