Hello everyone,

I wanted to post some (before) pictures of the VOI-9 coupe that I purchased in January....

http://www.ecarlist.com/showroom/1127/photos/982832

This is my first Viper and I absolutely love this car. When I purchased this car, I told myself that it was done and didn't need anything else. Well, I found stuff that it 'needed' and have been working to get it where I want it over the last 5 months.

Through some friends, I learned that this was Tucker's old car and he's been very helpful in answering questions I've had concerning the car and mods that were done on it.

I purchased the car through Chicago Motor Cars and I enjoyed doing business with them. When I get home from work, I'll be installing the 08 hood I purchased from VPA and I'll get some good pictures for everyone to enjoy. Since purchasing the car, I've done tint, a custom stereo setup (including a 10 in the hatch in a custom built enclosure), and raised the car up a little bit for the crappy Houston roads. I've ordered a custom 3" exhaust and will be getting the car tuned with SCT.

This car is perfect in every way and I can't imagine ever selling it. Since buying this car, I've made a few good friends within the Viper community. I'm part of the Houston VCA and I look forward to meeting more good people that share the love I have for this car.

Here's some photos I took of the stereo install. I swapped all the gauge lights for white LED's and blue LED's in the A/C panel and keyring light. I did a new pioneer HU, which is really impressive (sorry, no pics yet). I went with 1 10" ID in the trunk and a 4Ch ARC amp which is mounted right above the battery. Doors and trunk were Dynamatted.

Nice car! Is that a white LED dash lighting kit you have in there? I've got a blue LED kit at home waiting to go in, not sure if I want to do that or a white kit.

Yes, the dash and gauge lights are the white LED's from superbrightleds.com. I did blue LED's for the keyring (looks really cool) and also in the A/C panel.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Thanks again for all the compliments guys!

Can't really take credit for the way the car looks. Tucker built this car and did an amazing job! This car fits me perfectly in every way and I really couldn't be happier!

I will be putting my final touches on the car. I'll be sure to post some pictures once they're done.

Tucker would be pleased to know that the car is still in immaculate condition. Even after going to Illinois and back. One of the cleanest Vipers I've come across, Mike got a great deal on it.

I guess we'll be doing the exhaust upgrades on it soon...

Tony definitely played a big role in my decision to purchase a Viper. I've wanted one of these cars since they came out in 92 and really wanted one when I saw Tony's First Edition coupe for the first time. I was contemplating buying a z06 until I saw Tony unload his Z, only to turn around and start building his Viper. Now, every time I see a Vette on the road, I thank God I didn't buy one.

With that being said, I owe Tony big time for helping me come to the decision I came to.

Thanks brotha :D

When Tony had his Z06 and all of the CorvetteForum would be foaming at the mouth over it, I would love their responses when he would tell them if he had to choose between the two, he'd keep the Viper 10 times out of 10

That Z was badass. Quite possibly the cleanest Z I've ever seen.

Funny thing is, a stock Viper will get more attention than that car did with all the mods. Even the older gen Vipers draw an unbelievable amount of attention. My friend has a stock Gen2 and people are constantly staring at that thing.

I was guilted in to selling the car back to the man I bought it from stock. He called wanting it back. I am glad to see he put some miles on it. Enjoy it. I think it is one of the best looking coupes I have seen.
