I purchased a Gen 2 Viper ACS from Bernie at Tomball Dodge a few weeks ago and it is finally arriving. It has been a long 3 weeks waiting for the paperwork and the loan, etc. I am very excited about this car and feel like a kid again. I spoke to the driver last night and the car is suppose to be delivered late tonight. I own a '08 Gen 4 but I have always loved the body style of the Gen 2. I will post pics hopefully soon. :)

Thanks guys.

I just spoke with the driver ---- apparently he had some kind of trouble with his truck and the car won't arrive for another 2 days. I will post pictures.

I remember waiting for mine to arrive, couldn't sleep, kept calling the driver to see where he was along his journey. What a rush seeing the truck pull up in front of the house. It'll be worth the wait. Congratulations!

And an added bonus when all of the neighbors start coming out of their houses to see what's going on... :smirk:

am.amsl,

No not the bumble bee. It was the 2001 solid yellow ACR with 930 miles on it. The car will arrive today or tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me but it was only 1 day (*****, but makes it even sweeter when it does get there). Congratulations SR & let us know how many times you go out to the garage that first nite to look at it! WOW, now you have 2 Vipers, how sweet, (an 08' will most likely my next addition).

Wow, 78 miles per year. That would be torture to look at it and hardly ever drive it. Nice find, enjoy the ACR!

LOL, mine didn't come out especially the ones in the cul-de-sac where I was "testing" the Viper traction or lack thereof. :D

Re: Awaiting new arrival - It is here (pics included)

Hi everyone,

The car arrived yesterday and it is practically new without any flaws. I gave it a wash/detail today and took some pictures. Enjoy.

Either way enjoy.

I most likely will not putting that many miles on the '01 but I do drive my '08 often.
