So very tempting except for the $39k I don't have and the fact that people would never believe me. I can hear them now, "thats not the movie car, you just put your yellow wheels back on" :rolaugh: I wonder if I can buy just the dash plate and stick it in my car? :D I'm not sure about the "most viewed Viper in the world" claim either. If you add up all my *******/McV photos and thread views, I think I may edge it out :lmao:

What is a limited "addition"...that must be super rare! Those regular limited Edition cars must just be run of the mill:rolaugh:

Well how the heck did that work!

The guy who owns it just got it in April. Was a friend of a friend. Spoke to him when he first got it and told him about VCA etc. Had not heard from him since.

Wonder what happened! :dunno:

I remember seeing a Craigslist ad for this car two or three years ago posted in the Lansing MI area. IIRC they were asking 36k for it and claimed to have documentation it was the one used in the movie and it included some autographed memorabilia, signed movie poster etc.

It may have been on ebay the same time because I thought it sold for around 32k and I never saw it relisted. I also remember the ad saying the car had been owned by an Indy car driver after the movie was made but can't recall the name of the driver. I always thought these Red/Yellow Vipers were kinda neat in their own way. I thought about putting in an offer just because it was the movie car but didn't because I knew I'd have a B/W GTS if I ever was to own one.

Not sure if this information is correct or if what I saw was bogus listing(s). I'm sure someone knows and it would be really neat if they came forward and posted here because movie/TV cars are cool!

I think the ad said that it was won by a F1 driver by putting less than 100$ bucks into the machine. *I think*
