Hi everybody.

I read about the H-series, FE-5, sidewinders...and checked lot of pictures with 2006 stock wheels, but which ones were the stock wheels or optionals in 2006?

Mine has this model and I read about it as a sidewinder rims. Is this correct?

Thanks.

Correct that is the sidewinder in 2006 which came on the copperheads but better known as the ACR rim for 2008 plus ACRs. They are the lightest of the bunch so consider yourself lucky. i am actually looking for a set to use as track wheels.

10 spokes were standard on the non FE cars

You're wheels are Sidewinders, and we're not an available option in 06...a great looking wheel nonetheless

They did come on the 2005 Copperhead verts...... I have the 10 spokes but aspire to have the five spoke FE wheels.......I kick myself regularly for not buying Ryan's when I had a golden opportunity!!!

Thanks for the info guys.
I really think I'm in lucky to find this car, just need to get enough knowledge about all the car has installed and the way to drive it safe.

It really looks great with them.

What are the 5 spoke wheels that look like the sidewinders? I have a 2006 FE (#133) with 5 spoke wheels. In the picture above the spokes have a curve where they meet the wheel. Mine are flat, see picture below.

Hi Chemenq, seems that yours are more delicate because exposed spokes than mine. The wheel have a more inch diameter look than mine too.

Sorry but what is a 2006FE?

I can't attach pictures, there's a message saying that I exceed my quota...

Thanks.

Hi Crazy-blue,

FE is a First Edition. There were 200 blue with white stripes Viper coupes made in 2006 and had a numbered plaque on the armrest. The wheels definitely look different, not sure what I have.

You have the factory 5 spokes for 2006, They didn't just come on the F/E cars. They were a optional wheel in 2006.

That rim on your 2006 RSI TWIN TURBO are the rims that came on it when I bought it brand new from Ringold Dodge in 2006........I alwAYS thought they were the rim that came on it from the factory......don't know if Ringold changed them out or not......but they are a beautiful rim.....hope you still do not have those run flats on your Viper.......They throw you all over the road........get rid of them.....unSAFE on your TWIN TURBO.......that was an AWESOME Viper to drive...other then the tires.......

The wheels you have are the standard ones from a 2005 copperhead edition. 300 were made. The standard wheels in 2006 were 10 spoke, 5 spoke, and h-spoke.
Thanks.

How could you and why would you? they are two completely different rims. The recess is not the only difference.
