Has anyone tinted the rear window in an SRT-10 convertible? I've reached out to a couple people via *** with mixed results.

All the searches I found were legality questions, what types of films, etc, etc, etc, but I couldn't find anything that addresses tinting this type of window.

Thanks for help!

You are a brave one, the visibility is already limited as it is, with the top down... LOL

Are you looking for personal experience or just having it done? I had it done on my 03 Vert...certainly a pain, but do able.

Mine is, not sure what % it is though. It's freaking dark...

Pics are in the classifieds.

I just wanted to make sure that over time the tint wouldn't crack or even come lose from putting the top up and down.

I've wanted to do mine but seems like a pain to do. Looks like you have to take out one of the seats.

Mine are tinted at 5% all the way around on my vert. I have no idea how much of a pain it was though. As much work as I do on my own cars, tinting is something I gladly pay my guy to do on everything.

I have 5% as well and watched the guy tint the car. It looked like a pain as he was doing the rear window but he managed to do a great job. Make sure to use a quality tint otherwise it could crack and/or fade. I used the 3M ceramic tint and have had no issues with it in the 3 years it has been on the car.

I have a close friend who tints my cars. He's said it was one of the most challenging windows he's done due to the location.
