TUV ***** big time just another way to tax manufacturers that try to

export to Europe. I have done some motorcycles and it is a never ending

pile of red tape.

Thinking about doing this now actually. I am moving from the suburbs of Boston into the city for work, and despite the astronomical price on my apartment they want an additional few hundred a a month per indoor parking space... considering north station and my office is only a walk away I dont really need a car anymore so I am thinking of selling my cars and getting into a murcielago.

Polar opposites. I've seen these two cars debated on the Lotus forum a lot... Its interesting what they think of the Viper :)

Very polar opposites...lol. The exige was a little too small inside, a little to loud inside, just not very user friendly for me or passengers. Great driving car but not great for a drive through the country on a nice day. It just didn't have the meanness of the viper. I'm looking for a gen IV as well...lol

I would only get rid of my Viper for this one, actually I would do anything to get my little track hands on one:

:usa: Original GTS-R (its not a viper, its a super hero) :headbang:

Other then that it would have to be another Viper :D

This is actually an interesting question, pity it turned into "my dream car"
I think the point of the thread is, if you had to get rid of your Viper for $$ reasons / practicality, what would you get?

I would probably get one of the new Volvo C70 convertibles
I think that's what some have got this thread confused with, cause some have mentioned several cars that are thousands of $$$ more than what their Viper is worth! The question is NOT what your DREAM car is, but WHAT CAR you would get if you HAD to DUMP YOUR VIPER (it wouldn't be a car that is thousands of $$$ more)!

Fair enough... If I had to come out of it with some cash in my hand after the "downgrade" then Acura NSX. Worth about 10 grand less than my Viper, but still semi-exotic, marginally more reliable and "practical" if that matters...
And still with a manual!

I hope the people considering lambos are either using them exclusively at the track or they have driven a few before. Rented a gallardo in san diego and was extremely unimpressed, even disappointed....but I didn't drive it on a track either.

What did you find disappointing about it?

When I drove one the e-gear was terribly jumpy. The seats were down right terrible, very hard and unsupported. It does feel special when you drive it and a manual car with a good set of exhaust pipes on it.

Deep down if they came and took my Viper away I would try and find Bentley GTC or a Morgan AeroMax.

Like some of you, nothing jumps out at me after having the car(s) of my dreams. It's not about having what you want but wanting what you have. And with that being said, I would hunt down a black aventador.

I think I would get the CTSV Sportwagon as my DD. I have a Range Rover now and the reliability is garbage plus the wagon is a manual and that is just awesome! As for the Viper replacement, I've always wanted an FGT...it would have to be something American and muscle to replace the Viper beast!

Wonder if you could drop a V10 crate motor in this?
