I've search this topic quit a bit but still no solid answer. I'm going Greg good heads and cam build, from what I've read some get away with stock injectors but there about maxed out. I've found that the 300zx side feeds are 370cc and will drop right in. That is a 35lb injector vs a stock 29lbs. Does this sound like something I should even mess with?

I have upgraded heads and camshaft on my 99 GTS making over 540 rw-hp and am not any where near maxing out the injectors. That was a problem with modified gen 1 motors I believe but we verifed on mine and they are fine.

In most cases I have found that the stock injectors can support 600rwhp for the Gen 2's.

I did a heads/cam project on my 01 and talked with The Wizard throughout the project. When it was time to make an injector decision Chuck said no question about it; send the original injectors to Tony Armour at Armour Racing. Now the injectors look like new, work like new, are marked for specific cylinders, and the turnaround time was incredible! The fuel curve after the dyno-tune shows that Chuck was right and Tony does good work.

Well that's what I'm shooting for.

"Thank you Dan I won't waste any money on them"

I have a similar heads and cam set up for the race car in my avatar. I'm using stock injectors with no issues. Replacing the injectors with larger ones is different then getting them flow tested for accuracy and optimum performance. I did get my stock injectors serviced and flow matched when I bolted on the new heads and cam.
