Roe supercharger on eBay. Just saying beware

Just don't want to see someone get burned on this. eBay item 281090232733. Gen2 roe blower. Zero feedback seller. Wants payment made by check then will ship. No Paypal and won't let me pick it up and pay cash in person. He won't return email after I said I would pick it up.
Seller told me $2500 check or money order.
Just my .10 cents. Proceed with caution.

That is interesting. I sent him a message as well.

On another note his other auctions have cash discounts and overseas wires accepted. Very weird. On another note the auction states the supercharger is still on the customers car and will be removed at the end of the auction yet he shows a photo of the injectors.

His pictures are of 2 different Red tubed Roes, look at the rear plenum, one has the longer version, the valve covers are also different, numerous other differences but those are the easiest to pick out...

Was looking at it on my phone, now that you mention it there are a LOT of differences. Wish we could flag them on eBay like craigslist. Pretty positive its a scam.

Going to post this on the Alley as well. Don't want to see anyone get screwed.

Ive hated ebay eer since you can't leave negative feedback for people anymore....Now I have to leave "positive feedback" but say something negative in the comments....its the only way...I think?

oh and the original ebayer said that it was being removed because the costumer is going to a TT setup... the biggest thing for me is, Why would the shop be posting up a customer's supercharger... im pretty sure if I was going from S/c to TT, I would keep the S/C and sell it myself

I don't think he cancelled the listings, all of his listings were cancelled. He has been reported to ebay for fradualent activity.

You cant leave negative feedback if you are the seller , but you can leave it if you are the purchaser ---

I asked him to send more pics of the kit as well as the car the way it sits right now and he said he didnt have any... told him ok well until you do do not contact me any further....... nothing haha

Good to know thanks! In my case I was the seller, and the winning bidder never paid / no contact...they had 20+ 100% positive feed back and it was a $50 item....

Just picked up the kit and took it to my viper tech to have it checked and everything is in excellent condition and ready for install....paid him 1800 for it on a pick up . ........................

ahh well that would prob be why he didnt respond... what was the deal with it? i thought he wasnt wanting to do hand to hand... ill give you the 2000 if you want LOL :rolaugh:
