Thanks guys...I still love the Gen IV styling better overall ....but the technology and performance upgrades in the 2013 are worth the change...

Side by side from your front pic, the Gen IV styling looks better - almost more refined looking. But yeah, hard to pass up on the upgrades of the Gen V. Congrats!

Congrats on your new gen V, but I guess its too late to keep both in the garage.

wish I could have both as I actually like the Gen IV more styling wise... Also.. There was no way financially I coulod keep both
I just barely sqeeked by getting the 2013 with my trade..I am not rich, family has no wealth.. every dollar I have ever made is from my hard work ( two jobs).. I am just a viper fanatic and want to support America and the American supercar that I love...

Congratulations and thanks for your support for the Viper! But..... I am curious why you would drop 70 K to upgrade your as new (1300 mile) Viper for one that does not look as good? (your words)And a few others. Impulse Buy?

I like the new technology in the car, the traction controll, the added HP and the interior....plus I was out of warranty and was about to spend
money on new rims and tires and exhaust and, etc... so as I said in the GEN V forums posts... I was swayed by the improvements in the car.

Hi Bob -- Congratulations! Had no idea you were looking to sell your 2010 when we saw you in Mt Dora, but when the blue and white LE came out it was bound to get your attention. We'll let you and Karen know if we're planning any cruises up this way so you can have a road trip. Cathy says hello to you both ! Jim

2010 Gen IV Viper is still under factory 5yr 100K power train warranty. I do appreciate your response to my question. I will be faced with this decision some day when I walk in to see a Gen V Vert in the showroom. You know I love your color choice and hope to see you soon at the next Viper event!
Enjoy the ride!

Very nice car and the blue with white stripes is the best color combo on the 5 I have seen so far. Well done !! Stripes are a must so the car is not so plain looking too.

Have to agree like the styling on the Gen 4 better, but I'm sure you'll be happy with the Gen 5 look forward to hearing your comparison once you have some seat time!

Glad to see ordinary Joes, like myself, living the dream. I still have a year of saving before I even start looking at gen III's and IV's. Congratulations, I know you are proud of yourself!

Oh man! You were my brother from a different mother. I just had my engine sent to Arrow. They are putting forged internals in. I am also upgraading to Belanger headers and exhaust, and Mopar ECU....guess I will have the same performance as the 2013. I still like the fact that its raw without the nannies.

All that said, I congratulate you on your decision. I'm sure you will love the car! It's beautiful.

Thanks Brother..

It was tough to leave my prized Gen IV Blue w/ White....I hope I didn't make a mistake.. Good luck with your upgrades.. I was going to do similar things also
and that was partially the justification for just getting the 2013 ......
