I originally ordered the leather seats and no stripes. I changed my mind and dropped the seats for the stripes. I thought that it would be easier to get used leather seats if I didn't like the base ones. There would never be a chance of getting those factory painted stripes at a later date. You do have the option of making your own choice of stripes and I for one would have liked the rear stripes to go over the spoiler and down a couple of inches from the top.

Just found out this morning that my car is in "G" status (trim). Nice suprise, never did see the "F" status. I'm Canadian, so I'm hoping it doesn't sit for a month before shipping.

Congrats Craigers! Does it have Track Pack? SRT informed me that most Track Pack orders are being pushed to 2014 model year, because of a wheel shortage. My dealer says I'm still in the cue, but we shall see.

Thanks. No track pack. Venom black SRT with upgraded sound system, hyper black rattler wheels.

You are not kidding. I probably won't see mine for at least a another 10 days. I'm debating picking it up in Nebraska and driving it home.

If you are thinking of driving, why wait for a truck to take it to Nebraska, unless the dealer is doing some mods? You could fly into Detroit, do the factory delivery, take the tour and hop on I75 and go South.....probably a few miles less of a drive!

Mine's been getting trim for the last few days. I hear it could be up to ten or more days there...

Not if the line is moving at the 8 or 9 cars a day rate. Actually more like 2 days. Final inspection can take quite a bit longer, depending on what problems are found and what has to be done to make the car perfect. Good luck---your wait is almost over!

Actually 400 less miles. I have been told no on factory pick-up even though Ralph said I could. Seems to be in keeping with the high appreciation for being a repeat buyer.

I know of 2 just on the forum---NineBall and BrianGTS. I know of a few others not on the forum. Maybe ask your dealer to check one more time or call SRT and tell them what you think? Good luck!

855-SRT-TEAM agrees with this. They told me the car should be complete in another day or two then it'll have to wait for a truck to Bernie...then on to me from there.

july or later was unacceptable to me so I canceled the order and purchased one already built with the same exact options and got immediate delivery.

Haha, that's awesome. I am redecorating my son's room this summer, he's about that age. His requested new theme? Vipers and NASCAR, LOL. I have a signed Jeff Gordon race-worn helmet and some pretty awesome framed prints of Dale Earnhardt and others, and now there will be a picture of a Gen V on his wall. This one...

6 days from start to final inspection, not bad! Connor appears to be firing on all 10 cylinders.
IIRC it's been a couple of weeks since it first went to frame on VOTS. Just talked to SRT and the status on VOTS now matches what they see. Not sure how accurate it'll prove to be, but I'm told the scheduled ship date is 6/26.

My ETA was a day later I believe on the order I ditched...gonna keep watching its production just out of curiosity. Even if it did come this week (which I highly doubt) I sure wouldn't have been driving it last weekend like I did in my car. My guess is 1st or 2nd week of July. Its getting there.....you're close. But I ordered in 2012 with the anticipation of May/June delivery. Getting the car in July or later was something I found unacceptable enough to cancel the order and buy one already built as you are likely aware.

your order is ****. Look forward to seeing pics!

Frame on the 18th.... so around 8 days. They couldn't give me an estimated ship date today on the phone. Hoping that's not a bad sign.

They have a very large room on the back of the plant where completed cars get parked. They have to fill up a transport truck that is headed to your area, before the car ships. That is why the wait time varies when the car is built.
