As the title states - anyone with the Laguna Interior on a GTS remove your airbag sticker? Did you use the standard hair dryer method? I didn't know if the basic method would work or if the special interior called for a special approach. :dunno: Thanks in advance.

I'd be interested in finding out what works best for removing the stickers too!

LOL - but then you would loose the vanity mirror - yes it actually has one!

general method is using a hair dryer just wasn't sure how the suede would take it....

re: Garage door opener - good call.
Nail polish remover? Saw the pics but i could never be that brave. Believe we'll go with the hair dryer ... will let you know how it goes.

hair dryer worked on airbag sticker

So we did it - it worked. Hair dryer. Heated it up. Lifted up little corner. Heated. Lifted up little more - slowly. Heated it up repeat. Till completely off. Then repeat with heat to dissipate glue. Not sure how to do pictures from iPhone app so will post later.

Step 1: heat with hair dryer and try to lift one corner. Experience has told me to understand that not all corners are equal so if you are not making progress with heat on one - try another.

Step 2: continue to heat and gently pull of more and more of the sticker until it is all off.

Step 3: You will notice some stickiness remains. You can dissipate this with the hair dryer. Be careful not to burn your visor or touch it with the screen which could cause scuffing.

Step 4: Pic after additional heating - same day right after completed. Experience has told us it continues to vanish after this point.

Try not to blow the motor in this one or flip it and catch it on fire, you silly geese! Stop, drop and roll only applies if you're OUTSIDE of the car.
