Had my plate done in blue to match up! The red would have been an eye sore now that the car is dipped.

Just got this pic sent to my phone. The gas cap was peeled and will be re-dipped in matte black. The Sneaky Pete on the hood will be wrapped with a smoked film (because the red looks out place) and taillights will receive the same treatment. It looks like a 4x4 right now but should look nice and low when it's back on the ground and settled. Also, I originally wanted a darker blue but when I saw this color in person I decided to go with it.

So is the blue plasti-dip also? When you first posted it, my thought was the black was and then it was painted over...but reading through I'm not so sure now... :p

Forexx4, great for the rally and will protect your oem paint. However, the original red/silver is much better looking. Hell of a NA beast. Please post some pics of the rally on this thread. Have fun!:D

So here's the finished product! Picked up the car earlier today from my friend's shop and I'll be headed to Dallas early in the AM for the photo shoot. And yes, the black, blue, wheels, and gas cap are all plastidip and can be removed when I choose to do so.

Attended the photo shoot today that will be used as promotional (and fap fap) material for Dustball. There was three models in attendance but one left early, the other seemed to only like Corvette's (***?), and the last one decided she wanted some ACR action. Anyway... I'll **** now and post these up:

I had a nice little recap typed up and my damn Safari froze up. So now I'll just post a few pics. with a small description and call it a day.

1: Picture of the whole group taken at a random gas station somewhere in GA. Notice the guy next to the sheriff...

2/3/4: Since I had the fastest car in the rally, a special photographer had to be called in to snap pictures of me. :D (Brandon Connelly Photography)

5: Shot by Dave Stevens from Day 0: Driver Meeting

6/7: One of the funnier teams on the rally. They started off with a Z06, but blew the transmission somewhere in Tennessee and had to get a rental...

8: Posted up on Ocean Dr. in Miami. Had way too many people come up to us to take pictures and ask, "Who are you guys?!"

9/10/11/12: People like to have a little fun so this is how car's would usually look like in the mornings. Stickers were also used as decorations to other people's cars...

14: We had to ride a ferry somewhere and I didn't know it until I was driving on to that damn thing. Anyway... 26 teams all packed in there looked pretty cool.

15: My favorite car of the rally! Custom built G8 with upgraded LS2, supercharger, nitrous, and 3 crazy-ass Texans.

16/17: Bookin' it while doing The Tail of the Dragon in TN/NC. That was fun!

18: Woke up late on Day 2 so one of the teams left breakfast on our windshield. That's right... fortune cookies from the Asian in the black GT-R! :D

19: Stopped for food somewhere in Arkansas and was asked why I was driving a race car. When I replied we were in a rally headed to Miami the lady said, "Honey, this aint's the way to Miami. I's think you is lost."
