Well, sold my 08 coupe and moving into a 2010 ACR :)

As the title states. To be honest I'm a bit heart broken to have to sell my 08 but I know it's for the best to pursue my dream car!

I recently sold my 08 and couldn't ask for a better buyer. I had my eye on the 10 ACR in the classifieds the day I seen it post. The seller had a buyer ahead of me that didn't work and as soon as I got word I put some money down. The seller was very patient and I'm excited to say I will picking the car up tomorrow!

So anyone with a gen 4 ACR have any tips? The car is factory. It's the Black with Red and is the 1:33. The car is #6.

From what I know the only difference is:

Sidewinders wheels with sport cups
Fog delete
2 piece stop techs
CF splitters
ACR suspension

Anything else? I'm also told the 2010 has some updates the 08 didn't like a different tranny and updated drive by wire?

This car also has factory Nav with 1:33 badging and floor mats.

That was a great deal on an amazing car! Too bad but looks like you have yourself a pretty nice ride!

Hahaha. Yeah after having send $10k on HRE 895R's I'd spend 1/3 less on the CCW's all day. The CCW's are a amazing wheel and I actually prefer a 1 piece after owning both.

2010 wing is a revised design. The shape is the same except for the "wicker bill" or "gurney flap". The end plates are totally different.

2010 transmission has a revised 5th gear ratio of .80.

2010 drive by wire is updated making the pedal feel or response better.

Well here is an update! The car checked out and finalized the deal. I racked up about 200 miles on her today. Below are some pictures we got and more to follow!

First impressions of the car, amazing! It seems to be very stable but is one hell of an eye catcher.

However, I have found a few issues with the car and any help advice would be great.

1- the brake and ABS light flipped on for about 3 seconds during the test drive. However on the drive home never seen it again.

2- the drivers side valve cover bolts were loose. Just the bottoms. One is actually missing (calling Scharf tomorrow). 10mm.

3- the car has Nav but is missing the disc?!?!?!?

4- the clutch is much more stiff and almost difficult to push in. Definitely not unbearable but not as easy as my previous Vipers. Is there an adjustment for this anywhere?

Anyways all in all I'm happy with the purchase. I think the price was fair and I guess I'm just going to pic away at the details over time.

Now for the good stuff!

welcome and congrats to the 1:33 club. #20 has been a blast. Your clutch must have issues as it should feel much easier than previous gens due to the changes made with the pressure plate.MY gen 2 feels completely different much harder but I will remedy that this winter with upgrades. Have it looked at how many miles on her.

There is no adjustment on the clutch as it is hydraulic

Bummer on the clutch. That's what I was afraid. Wonder if a fluid change/bleed would help? Hummm

more than likely you need a new clutch, install a new kit along with slave and check the pilot shaft bushing/bearing and your clutch will feel/ push in like butter again- the pressure plate is toast.

Yup, pretty sure this is the route I'm going to need to go. Wish I would have known this prior

On another note the car is still under the 100k/60month warranty. And clue if that would be covered? The car doesn't seem to have been abused.
