I have noticed a clear fluid being left on my garage floor. It seems to be coming from the dead center on the engine but I have not jacked up the car to confirm where it is seeping from. It seems to evaporate but when I rub it between my fingers it does feel like it is not water. I don't have ac. Does this sound like coolant? As far as I know the car has all the original gaskets. Also I bought it three weeks ago and the car had 11k on it and I have put over 500 on it plus a track day. Thanks for any ideas.

OEM P/S fluid is clear...look at racl, lines, etc. SMALL amounts of some oils MAY appear clear...lift car, check oil pan, timing chain gasket cover, valve covers, etc.

Condensation from A/C (if so equipped) tends to drip to right side.

BEWARE...SOME hot climate cars have only water as coolant.

Good hunting.

more then likely the original paper gaskets that are causing the issue.
