If your car is pulling to one side under braking it sounds like you might have a toe issue. CMP is VERY ******* the brakes so you may need some cooling with a heavy car an no areas to cool them on the track. How many laps were you completing per session? Was the pedal long or just not enough bite?

I think I found out why my car is darty at speed...

One of the front P-Zeros is mounted incorrectly- the inward-facing side is facing outward. I was in such a rush to get the tires/wheels mounted and on the car and leave for my trip, I didn't have time to check.

NOT Connor's fault- this was a mistake done by my local tire shop. I purchased the extra set of Venoms with P Zeros and swapped them for the Track Pack tires/wheels, which are waiting for track day.

I'll have it re-mounted, then check alignment before tracking it on 9/6 and will give a full write-up.

**** happens ! Even the bests make mistakes. Glad you found it, as I'm talking mine to the track next Sunday and was a bit worried about it doing the same at the track.

Alright! Looks like quite a few of us are starting to drive these bad boys the way they were meant to be driven! Let us know how she does.

Thats great news Venom V I'm Happy that you were able to determine the issue..... Because this is the best handling Viper by far of all the previous 7 Vipers I have owned, and the quality ,fit and finish is remarkable ( although my 2010 Blue w/ white stripes was pretty sweet).. I was sure that it wasn't a quality issue from CAAP... having been there 4 times over the years....They are as proud a bunch of workers as I have seen anywhere... :usa:

Damn, 7 Vipers! I'm not worthy ;-)

I swear, it's hard to believe that Motor Trend has had so many issues with Vipers. My car is dead nuts perfect so far. Nice panel gaps, flawless paint and interior. The only issue was the dartiness which I believe will now be resolved. Love this bad ass snake!

You said the dealer threw the Carbotechs on the car, if ANY material from stock pads was on
those rotors, this could be your problem....Carbo pads must be used on ****** or complete sanded
turned rotors, (not that you should turn rotors)
Try sanding rotors and rebedding.

That could do it..amazed that nobody noticed the absence of the silver "PZERO" logo on the sidewall. Have fun on 9/6! We all look forward to your track reports!
