Parked my 94 awhile back and now won't start. Cranks over good and all gauges work except fuel gauge, it reads empty. No its not out of gas, just put 10 gallons in it. Everything was fine when I parked it. Maybe clutch switch? 96 GTS parked at same time both on battery tenders and it fired right up. What do you guys think.

The engine wouldn't crank if the clutch switch was broken. Was it parked for a while? I wonder if rodents chewed a wire or built a nest somewhere?

Does it display a check engine light? If so, try to get the code. Do lights flash on the information cluster while you are cranking it?

Did the alarm go off one day while you weren't around? If you have the factory alarm, then it will immobilize the car rendering it impossible to start. This is implemented a few different ways by different manufacturers. Some will allow the car to crank all day but not start. Others will beep at you and refuse to do anything useful. Try turning the alarm off. According to the manual, it will stop honking after three minutes. I can't remember how long it will flash the lights though. It's worth a shot.

Good luck!

Nope, does not display a check engine light and no flashing lights on the information cluster while cranking. Has factory alarm, will try setting and then resetting it according to the manual. Will also check around for possible critter problems but no signs of critters in garage area. Have four other cars in garage and have bait traps everywhere. Thanks for your help and I'll keep looking. I'll let ya know when I get it figured

my 94 has had the same problem. I would lean towards the alarm. its always the cause of my pain.
