I'm in the process of tearing my car apart for a heads/cam upgrade and I can't for the life of me get to the bottom bolt for the #9 cylinder. I've tried an open-ended wrench, long extension through the manifold with both a regular socket and torx socket, and a ratchet with a swivel head. Is the only way to get to this stupid bolt a really long torx head screwdriver through the manifold? Mine aren't long enough and I don't want to go buy a set if I don't need to.

When I did mine I used a small 1/4" ratchet and few extensions had to fish the socket thru the back with one hand and with the other hand lower the extension down to socket..then once I had the extension and socket connected I used the ratchet on the other end of extension. I think I might of used a 1/4" universal joint on the side of extension attaching to socket. It worked for me but definitely need patience lol

Thanks guys! I was using 3/8". I'll have to pick up some 1/4" stuff after work today and see if that will work.
