Finished the Nitrous Injection Install on my 2013 GTS tonight. Designed a simple setup that doesn't depend on or pass through or utilize any of the onboard ECU facilities. Hopefully this will eliminate interference with SOME of the engine management software built into the ECU. Out on the street with small jets and only 700 PSI of Nitrous pressure I was surprised by the instant and strong pulling power it made all the way through 3rd and 4th gear. 1st and 2nd gears were unusable even with the traction control ON.......lol. The stock Viper pulls like a horse, but this thing pulls like a Clydesdale now.....

The stock spark plugs looked fine, but I will be trying to source a few ranges cooler before cranking the power up considerably.

Have a dyno appointment for it this coming Friday Morning but the weather may be iffy....which means I won't get another try until the first week of November as I am traveling

If the system works good and you folks have any interest, I will put together pricing. The current set-up on my Viper is not using Propane, but I do plan on testing that should this current set-up test successfully. Could turn out to be a clean and inexpensive power adder while you're waiting for the forced air community to perfect systems and electronic interface for these new Vipers.

Wow,sounds like 1997 all over again...That Red 97 GTS did run good in the day...

Dyno is ok,bring that thing to the track and see if you you are the first one to get the Gen 5 in the 10s...Not stock,but whos telling..

Hopefully you are spraying into both throttle bodies with the same nozzle arrangement on each side, to ensure an equal dispersion of nitrous into the intake. If just using one nozzle like that, I'd be concerned about some cylinders getting more than the others.

LOL....still got that old 97 GTS. Can't bring myself to part with it. Lots of Viper Drags wins with that car. An interesting note, my brother and I took the two Vipers out on the airport runway (keep all the cars in my hangar) and made a few first gear rolling start passes and they ran as dead even as two cars could possibly run....no nitrous of course on the 97 vs the stock 13' with no nitrous. The 97' has heads, cam, complete exhaust. Tells me two things, 1) the 97 still runs good with the engine mods, and 2) the 13' doesn't need to have all that work done on the engine.....lol!

I agree about dyno vs. track and plan on taking it to the track as soon as I can. It should run a 10 easy with even a moderate 60' time with the juice and otherwise bone stock. I have not seen anyone close to the 10's yet as stock but with the cooler months coming, I'm sure these new Vipers can get there. The one fellow with the White one down at PBI was running Drag Radials which is basically a drag slick. I hope to get a pair of those soon. My goal is to leap-frog the 10s with a pair of drag radials and go straight into the 9's. I think it can be done with stock exhaust and a correctly tuned nitrous system.

Yes, dual sprayer set up just like the kit I produced for the previous Generations.
