That's a good deal! Don't worry about the mileage and the Mods are nice and will only help you enjoy the car more. Head Gaskets on these cars are not hard to change if you decide it needs them.

That was my impression as well. Thanks for the response!

The hood to me is very tacky however the top more then makes up for it. I assume the hood was customized. If not get the original. Also see it's missing the center caps. Most likely took them off for track so make sure you get those.

Looks like a lot of car for the money assuming it's still available. Also probably not too far from you being in Cincinnati and the car in Milford, MI. Pretty hard to find many 95's that are still owned by the original owner. That in it's self should be proof it's been taken care of.

GL on your search. I'd say snag this one up if you can.

The hood is actually better for road racing as it lets a LOT of air pass through the engine bay. The owner said he tracked it (I think he did) and this may be the reason for the hood.

Great point on the hood center louver...I know the car well as it has Autoform Parts on it...a case of form following function.
We did the hood as well...and that wasn't the only one!
That car is pretty much the way we did track cars in the early days of the Viper Challenge Series...you know...before Comp Coupes and ACRs...we had to make them.

The placement of the louvers also makes a difference. In the #9 car in the photo (mine) the hood bulges upwards when going fast (above 150) because the air coming in can't escape fast enough. The #17 (my brother's) with bigger centrally located center louvers doesn't seem to experience the same amount of pressure at speed.
