What the heck? Is there a company that makes these or something? I'm pretty sure I saw a blue one for sale a few months back, And if I remember, it was pretty rough.

Keep in mind that when those kits first came out, Vipers(particularly the new GTS's) were still selling for almost $100K. Like a Ferrari or Lambo kit car, it was meant to give people the Viper look without the Viper price. While obviously a fake to us, 99% of the public would never notice that it's not a real Viper. Most Cobra kits look terrible too, but most people don't notice because they've never seen a real one up close and don't know what they're supposed to look like.

put the grills back on the hood, remove the weird side exhaust, refinish the interior, remove all the badging and it would be pretty decent for 12k

It's like wearing a fake rolex....it's all great until somebody finds out it fake! Then they label you a pretender! No pretender on this site please!

It ain't a Viper but its probably the best imitation out there. Not approving it but I thought I'd gag when I saw the picture and didn't. OK, well maybe a little.

Why build anything on a C4 platform anyway?

Wouldn't be quite so bad if they had left the emblems off. When you really try to sell it as a Viper by badging it all up everywhere it just seems like you're trying too hard. Would be interesting to see in person. Just looks off in photos, curious what it looks like "in 3D" so to speak.
