I previously posted about upgrading to 6 pistons, but that will have to wait for another time. I'm going to get the tom's rear brake upgrade if available. Anyone know who sells them? Also, I wanted to possibly upgrade the rotors. Anyone try the Baer Eradispeed rotors? Can/should I increase the size of the rotors?

Also, has anyone tried the Baer brake pads?

Last but not least, who sells the correct set of stainless brake lines??

Jon at partsrack can get you the brake lines for sure, and I believe that at least for a time he may have been an outlet for Tom's upgrade, so, I'd ask him. Or possibly PM Tom directly: http://forums.viperclub.org/members/21389-Tom-F-amp-L-GoR

I have Toms 40mm upgrade rear calliper's on my Gen II GTS and Baer Eradispeed 2 piece rotors all round :)

I use EBC Red pads on the front and a European make Pagid on the rear. (basicly because there easy for me to purchase here in the UK).

The Eradispeed discs I have are Slotted and drilled, if you intend to purchase these I would recommend Slotted only ;) The slotted only discs are available for Eradispeed system :) With the drilled discs you end up getting fatigue cracks between the holes, it is not a problem until the cracks start joining up, then you need to change the discs.

I can say the 40mm upgrade made a massive difference to how the car stops, I used to get sick to death of front wheel lock up under the slightest bit of what I called sharp braking. With the 40mm set up I can still get the fronts to lock up but the whole car is now much more balanced out. This is how the car should have been set up in the first place when it left the factory.

I have not driven any other Vipers that have upgraded to the Gen 3 calliper's and moved the front calliper's to the rear, so I can't comment on that set up, But I am pleased with what I have for the Buck. :)

I agree with Mark on all aspects, I had the exact same set up (same calipers and rotors and front pads) just had the same rear pads as the front. Toms 40 mm made a huge difference in not locking up the fronts and flat spotting 2 sets of tires over the years. Also my eradispeeds had tons of stress cracks between the holes, def don't recommend cross drilled... just slotted. Have since put on bigger brakes (brembo grand turismo set up) but haven't pushed the car to the limits with it yet so wouldn't be able to tell you a fair assessment of how they compare.
